Welcome! I'm Lisa, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and proud founder of Wellington Minds Psychiatric NP LLC & Royal Palm Beach Minds Psychiatric NP. I would like to introduce myself and share a part of my story in mental health care.
I graduated from the State University of New York at Albany in 1998 with a BS in Biology. After working in education as a science teacher in Palm Beach County, a Ready-To-Learn Coordinator for PBS, and a Program Specialist and Writer for a literacy initiative in after school programs, I returned to my roots. I received an ASN from Palm Beach State College and a MSN from the University of South Alabama. Since 2014, I have been professionally devoted to working in substance use disorders (SUD) and mental health—where my passion and purpose truly come to life.
Life presents challenges that can negatively impact our mental health and well-being. These obstacles may include balancing family and career, navigating relationships, adapting to life changes, managing addiction, or coping with idiopathic and genetic conditions. As your Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I’m here to walk with you through whatever challenges you may be facing. Whether you’re managing anxiety, depression, addiction, or life’s transitions, we’ll work together as a team to find what brings you peace, clarity, and hope.
